Our Family Atchar Business was started in 2019 and has grown from 45 tons of green atchar to 600 tons cut this season.

Our Atchar business has a two-fold aim and vision. We want to be involved in our community by creating an interactive buying and selling scenario.

We are one of the few atchar manufacturers and producers supplying direct to customers in the Lowveld.
Our Mission
Firstly we encourage our community members to sell their green mangos to us during cutting season, we therefore set a price which has resulted in an increased price for green mangoes in the area – thereby benefitting the community.
To sell the manufactured wholesale atchar at a good price BACK to our local customers – this is the base for the small atchar businesses to thrive. We also stock and provide all the support items needed for atchar entrepreneurs to mix and sell smaller tubs with spices and love - to members of their community.
We have nurses, teachers, spaza owners and many more people making extra money through the sale of Makhundu Atchar.
